P!nk Short Bio

Pink (born Alecia Beth Moore) is an American singer and songwriter. She started her music journey at 15 with a girl group called Choice. But it was her solo career that really took off. Pink’s debut album “Can’t Take Me Home” (2000) was a noticeable hit. But her second album “Missundaztood” (2001) became a much bigger breakthrough, it sold over 13 million copies worldwide and included hit songs like “Get the Party Started” and “Family Portrait”.

Up until this day Pink has released nine studio albums, with the latest being “Trustfall” (2023). She also has an album under the name You+Me, which is a folk music duo, consisting her and Dallas Green.

If you are wondering why sometimes you see her name as “Pink” and other times”P!nk”, don’t worry it’s the same artist. This is juts a matter of stylization.

Besides her powerful voice and rock-influenced pop music Pink is also know for her energetic and acrobatic performances on stage. She is able to sing live just as amazing as in the studio. Just to prove it, here’s a live version of her hit “Sober”:
