“Song of the Day” is a special section where I post a single song on any given day. It can can be a well-know hit, or it can be a truly hidden gem you’ve most likely never heard before. It may be a song by a famous band, or it can be a not-so-well-known artist. One thing for sure though – each of these songs is special in its own way.
If you want be surprised by an unknown track, this is a great place for it. Discover new music and new bands. You never know – any of these hits may become YOUR song of the day.
November 17, 2024. “Fuel for Fire” by M. Ward. One of my favorite folk artists and a unique singer. Enjoy!
November 13, 2024. “Sandman, The Brakeman And Me” by Monsters Of Folk. Exceptionally great song. I only wish the band came together once more to record a second album.

November 4, 2024. “Here Comes The Rain Again” by Eurythmics. Just as good as Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).
November 1, 2024. “Hallelujah” by Myles Kennedy. A magical tribute to Jeff Buckley. Myles is perfect in this song.
October 26, 2024. “Pictures Of You” by The Cure. My Top 5 favorite song by the band. Trends come and go, fashion changes, but real music is always great.
October 18, 2024. “White Eyes” by The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble. Continuing my trend of Dark Jazz music, here’s a song by another great band in the genre.
October 14, 2024. “Constant Fear” by Bohren & der Club of Gore. The very best of Dark Jazz, also called Jazz Noir. Genre masterpiece. The most moody music you’ve never heard before.
October 8, 2024. “Everything” by Bridge To Grace. This is the song that you can add to your playlist once, and it will stay there forever. Sounds great every single time.
October 6, 2024. “Autumn Leaves” by the great Frank Sinatra. One of my all time favorite songs of his.
October 1, 2024. “Tightrope” by Papa Roach. A hidden music gem from their biggest album Infest (2000). One of the best songs by the band.
September 23, 2024. One of the old classics. “Sunday Mornin’ Comin Down” by Kris Kristofferson. The melody and the lyrics are perfect together.
September 19, 2024. “Between Two points” by David Gilmour. A legendary member of Pink Floyd, Mr. Gilmour released his solo album recently. And this song is just so good.
September 15, 2024. “Veil Of Sin” by Amorphis. A band you probably never heard of, unless you’re really into metal. Meanwhile this is one of the most beautiful songs that transcends the genre. The sax part is incredible addition.
September 13, 2024. “Let You Go” by RY X. A very calming, soothing track by a talented artist. Loved it right away.
September 12, 2024. “Long Nights” by Eddie Vedder. A superb album overall and a wonderful song in particular. Introspective and moody.
September 11, 2024. “Lucky Sue” by Men I Trust. If you wanna chill and vibe, this is the track you need in your life.
September 2, 2024. “Vampires” by The Midnight. Nostalgic vibes for everything awesome that 80s gave us. Oh, and a spectacular sax solo in this song.
August 31, 2024. “Separate Ways ” by Daughtry feat Lzzy Hale. Excellent explosive cover of the famous hit by Journey.
August 30, 2024. “Crying Laughing Loving Lying ” by Labi Siffre. I discovered this gem in one of the best movies of 2023 The Holdovers
August 27, 2024. “Dark Necessities ” by Red Hot Chili Peppers. An incredible song that I somehow missed when it first came out.
August 25, 2024. “Blackbird ” by Alter Bridge. One of their best rock songs you will ever hear.
August 22, 2024. “Riders on the Storm” by The Doors. One of their most famous songs. Iconic and timeless music.
August 18, 2024. “You and Me” by You+Me. When Pink and City and Color have a child – this is how it sounds. Perfect.
August 16, 2024. “Blister” by Seether. One of the best rock bands of the post 2000s era. And a great calm song for today.
August 8, 2024. “11 am” by Incubus might be not as popular as their hits “Drive” or “Pardon Me”, but it’s just as good.
August 7, 2024. “Evidence” by the great Faith No More. You find this song, you turn it on, and you have a blast. Simple as that.
August 3, 2024. An amazing cover of “Small Town Boy” (originally by Bronski Beat) made by Paradise Lost.
July 28, 2024. This song is a perfect example of how a great tune is just as good now as it was 40 years ago. Enjoy “Smalltown Boy” by Bronski Beat.

July 7, 2024. “Kryptonite” by 3 Doors Down. An absolute certified hit. Never gets old, ages better than wine. Always comes with excellent energy.
July 6, 2024. “Leave What You Love” by Past The Blue. One of a hidden gems I recently stumbled upon.
July 3, 2024. “Tramp and the Young Girl” by Mark-Almond. If you are in an introspective mood, this is the ideal song.
July 2, 2024. “Welcome to the DCC” by Nothing But Thieves. What a banger. You can listen to it 100 times and it never gets old.
July 1, 2024. One of the most unique and clever songs by legendary The Offspring. This one is called “Intermission”.

June 30, 2024. Today the weather is really hot. And for some reason a little bit of rhythm makes it better. “Croche” by N’To is perfect for that.
June 28, 2024. The original heavier rock version “Drink My Stupid Away” is a crazy good song. But this acoustic take just hits different. Royal Bliss is amazing.
June 27, 2024. “Beautiful Disaster” is the best song by 311 in my opinion. Released in 1997 this tune is timeless.
