Who are the Smith & Myers? Short Bio
Smith & Myers is an acoustic side project for Shinedown members Brent Smith and Zach Myers. Brent and Zach have been friends for over a decade and have been playing music together since 2005. The duo started the Smith & Myers band in 2014 in Jacksonville, Florida. They have released two EPs in 2020 since then. The releases feature a mixture of acoustic covers and originals by the duo. The acoustic guitar and piano are the main instruments.

Music Style of Smith & Myers
If you are fond of Rock music the chances are you have heard of Shinedown. Shinedown is an American rock band from Jacksonville, Florida. The band was formed in 2001 by singer Brent Smith. They are very well known not only in US, but internationally and have a lot of #1 singles in various charts.
Unlike Shinedown, Smith & Myers concentrates on a more subtle and intimate indie rock/pop style. Their sound is characterized by acoustic guitar, piano, and incredible vocal harmonies. It is more introspective and emotional. When you have only vocals and a single instrument, you can not be insincere. Thus the style of performance is always intimate and alive.
