WHo is Scott Matthews?

Scott Matthews is a singer-songwriter from Wolverhampton, England. His debut album Passing Stranger (2006) immediately became a break-through and earned him early recognition. Especially for the song “Elusive” that won an Ivor Novello Award for “Best Song Musically and Lyrically.”

Scott has released 8 albums, with Restless Lullabies (2023) being the latest one. He’s toured extensively, including supporting bands like Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol and Robert Plant (with whom he recorded a song ’12 Harps‘ for his second album).

Despite such a productive career, he still remains relatively unknown to wider audience. Last time I checked he had less than a 100 thousand monthly listeners on Spotify, which is hard to believe, especially taking into account what stunning music he makes.
