Bert Sommer – “Jennifer”
Many music fans don’t even know that Bert Sommer performed at the festival. Or they don’t know who he is. Which is kinda mind-boggling, taking into account how amazing he sounded at the event.
Santana – Soul Sacrifice
A truly legendary song by the great Carlos Santana and the band. Finest of Latin rock, absolutely virtuous performance. The drums are implacable and the guitar… well it’s Carlos Santana! You can’t go wrong with this one.
Richie Havens – Freedom
Richie Havens reached the hearts of thousands of attendees with that song. He already played his track-list but because other bands were not ready he stayed on stage longer. And he let himself to improvise.
Canned Heat – Woodstock Boogie
And incredible live show. Superb blues and boogie rock sound. Starting slowly and then capturing you on the hook to never let go. Masterpiece that you wish you could see with your own eyes.
Jefferson Airplane – Somebody To Love
One and only Jefferson Airplane with their super hit Somebody To Love. One of the earliest female rock stars in Grace Slick. Absolutely mesmerizing voice and a fabulous performance.

Of course there were plenty of other otherworldly performances. I mean Woodstock had The Who, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Joe Cocker, Jimi Hendrix, Sly and the Family Stone. They all delivered some of the best live shows that you will ever hear. I highly recommend checking the entire recordings on YouTube.
