Well, even though he is a popular artist, he is less known among younger audience. You have to be actively researching music and following music history to know who he is.
Things got better in later years since he became a judge in the hit talent show The Voice UK, as more people discovered Sir Tom Jones, but still, he remains somewhat unknown to millions of music fans. And the man who has been called “The Voice” himself does deserve to be known.
