Greta Van Fleet Best Songs – TOP 15 Incredible Hits

These are the best songs by Greta Van Fleet. At least for the time being. The band is still very young and I truly hope they stick around much longer and give us more awesome music.

Greta Van Fleet came into the music scene as a breath of fresh air. They brought with them those magic vibes from the 60s-70s that I personally thought were lost forever. And they did it in their own original way, without simply coping the iconic bands from that era.

GVF has this unique feel to them… It’s like they came from one of Stephens King’s books where the main hero drives his old 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle on the highway, with wind blowing in his hair, and the radio is playing this kind of music. It’s timeless and it’s real.

Who Are the Greta Van Fleet?

In case you’ve never heard about this band before, here is a short Greta Van Fleet biography section.

Greta Van Fleet is a rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan, formed in 2012. The group consists of the Kiszka brothers: Josh on vocals, Jake on guitar, Sam on bass guitar and keyboards. And there’s also Danny Wagner on drums. The band’s name was created when the guys heard about Gretna Van Fleet, a resident of hometown Frankenmuth. They decided to use the variation on her name (after getting her blessing).

What’s So Special About Greta Van Fleet?

When I first heard Greta Van Fleet I was so pleasantly shocked. As someone who listens to a lot of music, and I must add – a lot of very different music. Well, I did not expect to hear THAT SOUND from a new, current-day band. The sound I head from them caught me by surprise. I had to double-check who exactly was playing those songs. It was a great rock music with genuine vibes from the classic era of 60s and 70s.

The vocals obviously reminded me of great Led Zeppelin, but it was not a copycat situation. It was fresh and original music. I actually never understood when some people tried to accuse Greta Van Fleet of sounding just like Led Zeppelin. For example some critics say that Josh Kiszka is singing just like Robert Plant… Well, how can you blame Josh for having the voice that he has? It’s not like he can pretend to be Corey Taylor and start growling. Sure there are some similarities, but saying their music is the – it’s just being lazy and not really giving Greta Van Fleet a proper listen.

Greta Van Fleet are their own amazing band featuring highly talented musicians. They create and compose super fun songs with great lyrics. They sound incredible during their live performances. They are as real as it gets. I mean Greta Van Fleet is definitely doing something right cause they have millions of views and streams on platforms like YouTube and Spotify.

I just hope they stay in the business and keep that flame and passion for their music for many years to come.
