Crossfade Best Songs: TOP 10 Hits Playlist
Are you looking for amazing melodic, powerful, creative and catchy alternative rock sound? Look no further than Crossfade. Crossfade is an exceptional band that is sort of a hidden music gem. While they did reach mainstream exposure around 2005 with their debut album, things did not go as well later on.
Due to long inactivity since the release of their third and last album the band slowly drifted away from the music fans eyes. Not many people actually recognize this group now, unless they were actively listening to them back in the day. Which is a shame, because Crossfade has some of the most amazing songs you can find in the alt rock genre.
I have selected the very best of their crazy good hits here for you. Enjoy the playlist and discover new music!
Crossfade Short Bio
Crossfade is an American rock band formed in 1999 in Columbia, South Carolina. Originally named “The Nothing,” the founding members were Ed Sloan (lead vocals and guitar), Mitch James (bass and backing vocals), and Brian Geiger (drums). They later changed their name to Crossfade.
The band gained considerable success with their self-titled debut album which was released in 2004. It became platinum in 2005. After that the band released two more studio albums: “Falling Away” (2006) and “We All Bleed” (2011). Unfortunately after the third album the band has been inactive, although they have not announced their break up either.
Their most successful hit is “Cold”. It reached number two on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and has over 140 million views on YT. Other popular tracks are “Colors”, “So Far Away”. During their prime they toured with Papa Roach, P.O.D., Puddle of Mudd.
Best Song by Crossfade
Crossfade has 3 studio albums, with the last one released in 2011. Doesn’t seem like a lot, that’s for sure. But these albums are packed with awesome tracks. Especially the first two, they are great. The third album saw a change in the sound, it was more experimental. Still it has great songs.
If you never heard the band before or just want to hear their best music, feel free to listen to this playlist. These are the best songs by Crossfade in my book.
