What Genre is Bright Eyes?

What is genre of music that the band plays? The simple answer is – a great genre. Bright Eyes has developed their own unique sound, that is very recognizable. Not because they always sound the same, no. They actually experimented quite a lot through the years. They have plenty of soft, soothing calm songs, but they also have just as many upbeat rock tunes.

Their music mostly features these elements: indie rock, folk and alternative. Bright Eyes excels in acoustic arrangements. But they also don’t shy away from electronic instrumentation. So they obviously are not afraid to cross genres. What usually stays the same – is their lyrical style. If you’ve listened to enough of their albums, you’ll be able to tell it’s Bright Eyes, no matter what musical genre they choose. Delivered with Conor’s unique, somewhat nervy voice, it’s simply unmistakable.
